  • Oversee QA processes for client deliverables to maintain the highest quality standards.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, escalating issues as needed to keep projects on track.

About 8020

8020 is a Webflow Enterprise agency trusted by some of the most recognizable brands and creators on the internet. We’ve designed, built, and launched websites for companies like Circle.com, Vanta, Warner Bros, Pilot, Dr. Andrew Huberman, Hasan Minhaj, and many more. From startups to publicly traded enterprises, we help businesses build powerful, scalable, and future-proof websites using Webflow.

We’re not just another agency — we’re a team of problem solvers who challenge what’s possible in Webflow. We work closely with Webflow’s own teams on their largest projects and have a reputation for pushing the limits of the platform. Our work spans industries, from startups launching their first website to large-scale digital transformations for corporations.

We operate with high autonomy, trust, and accountability. There’s no bureaucracy, no micromanagement — just a team of talented, high-agency people working together to do great work. Even though we’re remote, our team stays connected through regular collaboration and annual offsites that strengthen our relationships beyond the screen.

At 8020, we’re always looking to add builders, thinkers, and leaders to our team. If you’re passionate about creating, problem-solving, and working with a high-caliber team, we’d love to meet you.

A peek at (some of) our values

Be Straightforward

No bullshit, no fluff, no jargon. It does not belong. We communicate clearly and honestly, whether with clients, teammates, or partners. Friendly and approachable — but always direct.

People First

We prioritize people over profit. We understand that financial success is important, but we refuse to compromise our team’s well-being or the quality of our work to chase short-term gains.

Do Right

We keep it simple: we aim to be good to the people we do business with. If we mess up, we own it and fix it. If a contract with a client is unclear, we do the right thing and interpret it in their favor.

No Assholes

No egos, no drama, no toxicity. We work with talented, respectful, and kind people — because life is too short to deal with anything else.

Give People Freedom

We’re a remote-first company with minimal meetings. We trust our team to manage their time, work independently, and deliver great results without micromanagement.

Prioritize Momentum

Every day, we work with fast-moving startups and brands, and the reality of the work we do is that waiting for perfect information before making a decision is a luxury we often can't afford. Jeff Bezos summarized this well in his 2016 Letter to Shareholders:

"Most decisions should probably be made with somewhere around 70% of the information you wish you had. If you wait for 90%, in most cases, you’re probably being slow. Plus, either way, you need to be good at quickly recognizing and correcting bad decisions. If you’re good at course-correcting, being wrong may be less costly than you think, whereas being slow is going to be expensive for sure."

Why join 8020?

  • Competitive compensation — we invest in the right people, and that includes competitive pay.

  • Happiness Program — every full-time employee gets $1,000 a year to invest in their health, motivation, or professional growth — whatever makes the biggest impact for them.

  • Yearly offsites — join your teammates for annual offsites in fun locations, getting a chance to collaborate, connect, and unwind in person. (The right person will join us in Cancun, Mexico,

  • for this year's offsite in April!)

  • Work with top Webflow developers — collaborate with some of the best in the industry on high-impact projects for global brands.

  • High-trust, high-autonomy environment — we value independent thinking and initiative.

  • Flexible remote work — work from anywhere with at least 5 hours of overlap with New York City time.

  • Enterprise-level Webflow work — be at the forefront of how Webflow is used at scale, pushing its boundaries.

  • Continuous learning and growth — work in a company that values experimentation, development, and staying ahead of industry trends.

At 8020, we’re not just building websites — we’re helping businesses move faster and scale smarter. If you’re excited about working with a team that values transparency, autonomy, and high-impact work, we’d love to hear from you.

8020 is an equal-opportunity employer. We value diverse perspectives and believe that a variety of backgrounds and experiences make our team stronger. We encourage anyone who resonates with this role to apply, even if you don’t meet every single qualification.

Whether they’re a seed-stage startup or a publicly-traded enterprise, brands around the world every day rely on 8020 to design, develop, and launch the internet's most ambitious websites.

About This Opening

We're seeking a talented Webflow Developer to join temporarily our remote team at 8020. With a strong reputation in the industry, we’re offering the chance to contribute to forward-thinking Webflow projects for some of the largest names on the internet. As part of a collaborative team, you can work alongside exceptional project managers, designers, and senior developers, creating an environment that encourages personal and professional development.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: You're an experienced developer with at least 2 years of Webflow experience and a portfolio of past work to showcase. You have a strong track record of delivering successful Webflow sites in business settings.

  • Efficient: You're comfortable using a development framework like Mast or similar frameworks, and constantly seek opportunities to improve your workflow + speed.

  • Communicative: You excel in asynchronous communication through written channels (Slack, ClickUp) or video (Loom) and consistently engage with teammates and clients. Strong English language skills are essential.

  • Methodical: Whether writing code snippets or developing complete websites for clients, you meticulously ensure semantic, performant, and optimized deliverables that drive client success. You rigorously test and review your work before deploying it to production.

  • Proactive: During periods of free time, you proactively identify and engage in side projects that align with company objectives, enabling skill growth.

What You'll Do

  • Figma to Webflow: You'll primarily collaborate with our design team or clients, translating design files (often in Figma) into dynamic, visually appealing websites.

  • Perform Audits: We often start retainer or re-platforming projects with an audit to identify high-potential opportunities for our partners. You'll need to be able to look at a website from several perspectives, including SEO, accessibility, performance, and editor experience, to provide strategic recommendations. Experience working with Lighthouse is preferred.

  • Retainer Services: In some cases, you'll collaborate closely with clients on an ongoing basis, serving as an extension of their team. Retainer work necessitates exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster strong relationships.

  • Be a Good Partner: At 8020, we pride ourselves on being an exceptional and trusted partner to our clients. We approach decision-making as if we were owners of their businesses and rely on you to assist clients in making strategic choices for their success.

Where You'll Do It‍

This remote-first position allows you to work from anywhere in the world. However, significant preference will be given to candidates who live/or are willing to work in US-friendly time zones.

‍Who Will Be Prioritized

  • Developers with a proven track record of successfully collaborating with clients or stakeholders in professional environments.

  • Developers with proficiency in Webflow's underlying code output: HTML, CSS, and basic Javascript. (If you have moderate-to-advanced proficiency in writing Javascript or JQuery, we recommend noting it in your application.)

  • Developers demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a willingness to teach and simplify complex concepts.

  • Developers with experience working in client service, either within an agency or as a freelancer.

  • Webflow developer with experience with MAST

‍Who This Job Isn’t For

  • In line with our core values, you can't be an asshole. Life is short.

  • We love it when our team can find ways to self-improve, even in downtime. If you need clear tasks assigned to you at all times, this may not be the role for you.‍

  • Attention to detail is a cornerstone of our work ethos. If you tend to overlook details, you might find this role challenging.

  • 8020 is — in many ways — still a startup. We make decisions on the fly and sometimes have to course-correct as we go. In line with our core value of Prioritizing Momentum, you may find it difficult to work here if you need every single question answered before you can move forward on a task.

Freelancers/Short-Term Contractors

At 8020, we're always seeking contractors to join our pool of trusted talent for future collaborations. Whether you're a developer, designer, animator, copywriter, or creative mind with experience with Webflow, we want to work with you!

If you're passionate about your craft and ready to collaborate, send over your portfolios and fill out the application below.

Let's team up and create something extraordinary together!
